What information is required to begin a transaction?

The terms and conditions should include the email address of the other party, a description of the item being sold, the purchase price, the delivery deadline, and the shipping address (if relevant). Once the order has been confirmed, you won't be able to change the terms and conditions. If you have further written electronic correspondence defining all order specifics before starting the escrow transaction, wait until all terms and conditions agreed upon are recorded in the order form before accepting a transaction.

How do I pay fund a transacton? 

1. Sign in to your account; 2. Click Orders from the menu; 3. Select "Pay Now"; 4. Select the Order Number As specified on the invoice, you can pay automatically using MTN Pay If the status of your order is "Awaiting Confirmation": Log in to your account; click Orders from the menu; click the Order Number and then click "Pay Now." 5. Verify that the order information was accurately logged before clicking "I accept" at the bottom of the page. 6. Press "Pay Now." In every other case, you must first generate the order if you haven't already.

When I make a payment, where does the money go?

Your escrow account balance is updated with the full deposit amount. By clicking "Dashboard" when logged in, you may The money will be kept in your escrow account balance until the order is flagged as finished while the delivery is being made. If you accept the order, your escrow account will be debited and the seller's escrow account will have the money available for withdrawal. Orders are indicated as disputed if you ask to cancel them by initiating a dispute. Only after the issue has been resolved in your favour will funds be made available for withdrawal.

How do I take money out of my escrow account?

As soon as monies in your escrow account become ready for withdrawal, you can take them out by clicking the "Withdraw" button next to your account balance. Only when money is available for withdrawal does the button show up. Withdrawals are automatically processed to the Mpesa number that is listed on your profile.

We will contact you to update your profile or give a Mpesa number registered in your name if you do not have a valid Mpesa number listed in your account or if the Mpesa number shown on your account is not registered using the name on your profile. We might need to conduct further research before making such modifications. For your comfort,Please check to see whether your profile information is current. We will ask you for your bank account information if the withdrawal amount cannot be handled through Mpesa or if you wish to have the money transferred to a bank account. If the name on the bank account provided does not match the name on your profile information, settlement to the bank account will fail. Please make sure your profile information is accurate.

What is the cost of an escrow transaction to you?

Administration Fee for Disputes: charged to the buyer in cases where an order is involved in litigation and the outcome is favourable to the buyer. Regardless of the initial fee-sharing arrangements between the buyer and seller, it is calculated as the usual escrow fee and charged to the buyer in full. Fee for Escrow Withdrawal: ₵4 or $0.50 USD are required for transactions in Kenyan shillings.

What is the time frame for inspection?

The inspection period is the length of time the buyer is given to inspect the provided products or services and notify the seller of any problems. It starts as soon as the delivery deadline approaches. The only time a buyer may bring up an issue is during the inspection period. When the inspection period is up, the money in escrow is immediately released to the seller if the buyer does not raise a disagreement. For services and digital commodities, the default inspection window is set at 24 hours; for tangible items, it is set at 3 days; and for motor vehicles, it is set at 7 days. The buyer will raise a dispute if delivery is not completed by the time the due date approaches, hence sellers are encouraged to mention the latest due date anticipated rather than underestimating it in an effort to appear efficient.

What distinguishes the cancellation of an invitation from that of an order?

If some order information are missing or wrong, the invitee may refuse a transaction invitation. When the deadline for delivery passes without the item or service having been provided or if the item or service delivered is considerably different from what was represented, a buyer may want to cancel an order by filing a dispute. RESOLUTION What happens if I don't get the products or services? You can file a dispute to keep a hold on the money in escrow if the seller doesn't deliver by the deadline. Prior to the expiration of the auto-approval period, you MUST raise a dispute. The auto-approval time is always noted on the order page, in our email and SMS alerts, and you are instantly reminded when the due date approaches for your convenience. How soon after starting a withdrawal do I receive money?

How do I begin an exchange?

By completing the "Start a Transaction" form, you can begin a transaction. A transaction can be started by either the buyer or the seller. The initiating party will need the other person's email address to complete this. If the order data are successfully recorded, the other individual receives an invitation and accepts it. After that, the buyer will be able to deposit money into escrow.

How will the Second party participate in my transaction?

Escrow business is by invitation only. The phone number and email address of the other person will be requested from you. When do I need to pay?

How do conflicts get resolved at paysafedog?

When a disagreement is escalated for our disputes team to review:

We speak with the purchaser and request specific details about the circumstances surrounding the dispute. We request the seller to provide proof that the product or service was delivered and to submit tracking information for "item not received" claims (if applicable). When there are complaints about "item significantly not as described," we examine the issues and provide other solutions, like partial reimbursements. The buyer is responsible for paying the cost of returning the item to the vendor if the suggested fixes are not workable. As soon as the vendor confirms receipt of the returned item, the buyer will receive their money back.

What defines the start and finish of an escrow transaction?
